Becoming a Non-Executive within an NHS Foundation Trust is a rare opportunity to make your mark within an organisation which has a reputation for clinical excellence and innovation and adds true value to the local community.

We work with a number of NHS Foundation Trusts within the South & South West region and are constantly seeking new Non-Executive Directors to meet the requirements of NHS Monitor, by strengthening the executiveboard and filling skill gaps.

As a key board member, Non-Executives will work closely with the Chief Executive and other Directors, providingnon-bias strategic advice and contributing toward the continued development of effective clinical practice across the Trust.

You will also ensure that compliance is met withing the regulatory framework of the Trust and monitor the performance of the executive team.

With joint responsibility for Trust budget, you will assist the Board in developing the Trust’s strategic direction with the aim of providing first class healthcare to the region.   To ensure that Trust Boards remainbalanced, we invite interest from individuals who have experience of operating at board level in an executiveand non-executive capacity and have a strong background in either finance, HR, corporate legal, marketingor construction.
